RACES - The first race was conceived when the second car was built

A great racing weekend on the very technical and challenging Interlagos racetrack. A fantastic 8th overall and 5th inLMP2 with the Oak Racing Art car shared with team-owner Jacques Nicolet and pro Japanese female driver Keiko Ihara.

A fantastic race weekend at Le Mans in the gorgeous Oak racing Art Car designed by Fernando Costa.
The weather conditions were very testing with intermittent drizzle. After a very tough night stint in the rain, the reward was a gorgeous sun rise over the famous Le Mans track.
Unfortunately the adventure stopped after 22 hours with a starter motor failure.
The Le Mans 24 Hours certainly lives up to its reputation! The biggest motor racing event in the world!

The first outing of the ex Ballot-Lena/Boutsen/Sabine works BMW 635 CSI was not a success with several fuel pressure and electrical issues. A lot of potential to be explored in the future with reliability.

The first outing for the ADA Porsche 962 C that participated in the Le Mans 24H race in 1992 and 1994, in particular with Dereck Bell and Tiff Needell.

Starting from P4 and quickly in the lead, everything was set for overall victory but a chronometer failure during the mandatory pit stop meant a one minute mix up and disappointing 2nd place.

A fantastic race week end under the sun in Spa-Francorchamps with the Oak racing team finishing 2,4 and 6 in the LMP2 class.
With only 2 pilots instead of three, and an average age well over 50, the Morgan-Nissan LMP2 finished at a very honorable 6th place, 13th overall. The fuel strategy was extremely tight and the car finished with just 1.1 liters of fuel left in the tank, enough for less than half a lap...

All hopes for a good result were shattered after just 3 km in the first special stage with a transmission failure. All that was left to do was to enjoy the week! Good fun on the track stages (from last to 7th in Magny Cours, then from 7th to 2nd in Albi).

We’ve had two very encouraging days’ testing. Our driver line-up gelled very quickly and everybody immediately hit it off! The new drivers in the team both know how to combine speed, safety and consistency and were on the pace despite the tricky track conditions – rain, cold, fog and sun! Overall, it was a faultless performance and that bodes well for the Le Mans 24 Hours.

A very special 24H race with French legend Gérard Larrousse (2 times LM winner) in a perfectly prepared 911 rewarded by a 2nd place overall.
Conditions were hellish with 7 hours of safety car in pouring rain and thick fog. Visibility was so low at times that some cars veered off course and could not find their way back to the track! The team performed without fault and the car did not miss a beat. A great season finish.

A physically demanding race after a long week end behind the wheel in 2 other grid was rewarded by a 6th place finish and top speeds of 310 km/h

A great 2 hours race at the Paul Ricard track. Unable to participate in the qualifying, the mighty Cobra started from the back to finish first into the night.

4th place in the GT class and more points for the 2012 championship won by the single turbo Budweiser-sponsored POrsche 935

A good race in Silverstone, with no rain despite the dire forecasts.P3 in GT2 class after one hour and some valuable points for the championship before the last race at the Paul Ricard

A very good weekend at LMC: P6 in qualifying behind 5 GT40s (first Cobra), P5 overall and P2 in the index classification.
The Cobra behaved perfectly, even in the tricky wet races
The event was an astounding success with more than 100.000 visitors

A thrilling qualifying session on the Le Mans full track despite gearbox issues with 4th gear not holding.
The start of the main event in the morning of the main 24H race was given under very heavy rain
Non starter. No pleasure
